Last weekend was a nightmare as my gig was canelled at The Royal Hotel because we were all snowed in, However it has been re booked for the 30th March.
So me and my gorgeous husband decided to put our night to good use and I don't mean by opening up a spare bottle of wine, I mean by doing another Vlog.
The last Vlog was great because we filmed it whilst I was on the road singing in Hunstanton but this time I wanted to give a bit of insight into my stage wear, such as where, how much and generally teaching people how to buy great outfits at fantastic prices. So mission acomplished we went ahead and created a vlog which featured the Clothes Store Quiz. It's not my favourite shop but great for a bargain and the Gabby Allen range from which I purchased is amazing. All I can say is can't wait for our next video just need some more inspirational ideas.
I was also sent from Batiste their new Speed it up Smoothing Blow Dry Accelerator Heat Protection to try which was handy as that particular day I was having a real lazy day and thought GIVE ME THAT BOTTLE I'm in the mood to product test and wow... No word of a lie not only did it give my hair a beautiful polish finish but it smelt great. I have no idea what they charge for this but I'm on it and fully recommend it to any
one! Fab results!
It's also got to the point where I need to start learning some new songs and I mean like the more modern song which I always find hard when you've got your 65 year old dad on the road with you pestering you to sing Mike and the mechanics lol! So I've become more bold and brave and started learning Rita Oras recent song Anywhere, so give me till the end of the week and that will be nicely polished for my next gig which makes a change because I usually learn songs in the car en route to a gig. Oh but I can hear it now... the moaning and the concerned look when the intro starts up "Who the heck is Rita Ora?" Bless his Northern cotton socks!
